Join a tournament, manage your team, view brackets.

Tournaments

Tournaments let your organization run sports competitions — basketball, volleyball, soccer, and more — with team registration, brackets, scheduling, and live scoring.

What's Your Role?

Your experience depends on what role you have:

Role What you can do
Admin / Staff Create and manage tournaments, approve teams, run the bracket
Director (custom role) Full tournament management — same as Admin
Team Captain View your team, see your schedule, check your bracket
Player / Member View the bracket and schedule
Anyone View public tournament pages (no login needed)

Opening Tournaments

Click Tournaments in the sidebar, or go to /tournaments.

The Tournaments List

Tournaments are shown as cards with a sport photo, name, format, status badge, and team count.

  • Active tournaments appear at the top.
  • Past tournaments appear below in a separate section.

Click any card to open the tournament.

Inside a Tournament

The tournament overview shows:

  • Stats — total revenue, total players, active games, total teams
  • Upcoming games — the next scheduled matches with date, teams, venue, and time
  • Today's matches — matches happening today
  • Registered teams — team cards with their banner, player count, and payment/waiver status

Viewing the Bracket

  1. Open a tournament.
  2. Click Bracket in the action buttons at the top.
  3. See all rounds displayed as a visual bracket.

The bracket shows which teams are playing in each round and who won.

Viewing the Schedule

  1. Open a tournament.
  2. Click Schedule.
  3. See every match listed by date and time with the assigned venue.

For Team Captains

If you're a team captain, you are automatically directed to your team's page when you open a tournament.

Your team page shows:

  • Team name, status, and banner
  • Your player roster
  • Your upcoming matches

Registering a Team (Admin / Director only)

  1. Open the tournament → click Add Team button.
  2. Search for a member from your organization to set as team captain, or enter captain details manually.
  3. Click Save.
  4. The team starts in Pending status — approve it to include it in the bracket.

Team Statuses

Status What it means
Draft Not yet submitted
Pending Waiting for approval
Approved Confirmed — included in draw
Waitlisted Tournament full but on standby
Declined Not accepted

Creating a Tournament (Admin / Director only)

  1. From the tournaments list, click New Tournament.
  2. Fill in:
    • Name — tournament title
    • Sport — basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc.
    • Format — Single Elimination, Double Elimination, Round Robin, Swiss, Pool Play, or Custom
    • Game type — Team or Individual
    • Dates — start and end dates
    • Entry price — registration fee per team (optional)
    • Max teams — cap on registrations (optional)
    • Public — toggle on to create a public-facing tournament page
  3. Click Create.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a team captain but I don't see the Tournaments link. Ask your admin to make sure your account has the team captain role assigned for this tournament.

Where do I see my match time? Open the tournament → Schedule tab. Your team's matches are listed there with date, time, and venue.

The bracket shows "TBD" — why? Teams haven't been confirmed or seeded yet. The bracket is filled in as teams are approved and the admin generates the draw.

Can I see the tournament without logging in? If the admin made the tournament public, yes. Ask your admin for the public link.
